File Uploads
Documents, images, spreadsheets
Upload your existing marketing materials, brochures, product catalogs, and brand assets directly to Image Farm.
Images
JPG, PNG, WebP
Documents
PDF files
Spreadsheets
XLSX, XLS, CSV
Logo Tagging: Mark files as logos to ensure they appear correctly in generated visuals.
Websites
Automatically extracted content
Add any website URL and Image Farm will automatically extract and index the content for use in generation.
Your company website
Product pages and listings
Blog posts and articles
Landing pages
Social Media
Connect your profiles
Link your social media accounts to incorporate your existing social presence and messaging into generated content.
News Topics
Live context from the web
Add topics or phrases to automatically fetch recent news and trends, keeping your content current and relevant.
Example topics:
- • “sustainable real estate trends 2024”
- • “Dubai property market updates”
- • “luxury hospitality industry news”
Organizing with Groups
Create groups to organize your sources by campaign, project, or category. This makes it easy to select the right context for each generation.
Templates
Templates define the visual style and structure of your generated images. They ensure brand consistency across all your content.
What Templates Control
Visual Style
The overall aesthetic, colors, and mood of generated images
Layout Structure
How elements are arranged within the image
Content Placement
Where logos, text, and imagery appear
Aspect Ratio
Image dimensions optimized for different platforms
Creating Templates
Create templates using natural language instructions. Describe what you want, and Image Farm will interpret it.
Example instruction:
“Create a 4:5 Instagram post with a bold headline at top, product image centered, and price in the bottom-right corner. Use a clean, minimal aesthetic with lots of white space.”
AI-Assisted Parsing
Use “Parse with AI” to automatically structure your instructions into a configuration.
Template Categories
Carousel-Enabled Templates
Any template can be extended to support carousels. Toggle “Create Carousel Template” in the template editor to configure how slides vary from the cover design. See the dedicated Carousels section below for the full walkthrough.
Defined by the base template style
Preserve or vary elements from the cover
Dedicated call-to-action configuration
Carousels
Carousels let you generate multi-slide content—perfect for Instagram carousels, educational sequences, or storytelling posts. The process has two phases: building a carousel-enabled template, then generating slides from it.
Create Template
Define the visual style for slide 1 (the cover)
Enable Carousel
Toggle carousel mode and configure slide roles
Set Preserve Flags
Choose what to keep or vary across slides
Pick Slide Count
Select 2–10 slides for the carousel
Configure Slides
Add per-slide sources, direction & adjustments
Generate
All slides are generated concurrently
Template Setup
1. Create the Base Template
This becomes your cover slide
Start by creating a standard template the same way you would for any single image. Define the name, description, category, and visual prompt. Upload inspiration images or import from social media if desired.
The base template prompt defines:
- Overall visual aesthetic and mood
- Color palette and typography
- Layout structure and composition
- How logos and text are placed
2. Enable Carousel Mode
Configure slide roles
Toggle “Create Carousel Template” in the template editor. This unlocks configuration for the three slide roles that make up every carousel.
Cover (Slide 1)
Inherits the base template style exactly. This is the first impression.
Middle Slides (2 to n-1)
The content body. Configure which visual properties to preserve from the cover.
CTA Slide (Final)
The call-to-action closer. Often varies more to drive action.
3. Set Preserve Flags
Control visual consistency across slides
For both middle and CTA slides, choose which design properties to carry over from the cover. Checked items stay consistent; unchecked items are free to vary for that slide role.
Font / Typography
Typefaces, sizes, and weight
Color Palette
Primary and accent colors
Background Style
Gradients, textures, or solid fills
Layout / Composition
Element positioning and grid
Photography Style
Photo treatment and filtering
Decorative Elements
Borders, shapes, and ornaments
Mood / Tone
Overall emotional quality
“Preserve Everything”
Use this shortcut to keep all slides visually identical to the cover. Useful for carousels where each slide should look like a continuation of the same design.
Additional Instructions
Optionally add free-text instructions per slide role. For example: “Use a bolder heading on content slides” or “Shift the background to a complementary tone on the CTA.”
Generating Carousels
4. Select Carousel Format
Unlocked by carousel-enabled templates
In the generation panel, choose “Carousel” as the format. This option is only available when your selected template has a carousel configuration.
Then pick how many slides (2–10). The first is always the Cover, the last is the CTA, and everything in between uses the Middle Slides config.
5. Configure Each Slide
Fine-grained control per slide
Each slide has its own expandable editor where you can set:
Assigned Sources
Pick which sources inform this slide (defaults to all campaign sources)
Content Direction
What this slide should focus on, with automatic file search and citations
Text Adjustments
Override headlines, CTAs, or copy for this slide
Other Adjustments
Any additional specific instructions
6. What Happens During Carousel Generation
Source Processing
Campaign sources are loaded and per-slide source assignments are resolved
Concurrent Slide Generation
All slides generate in parallel—each applying the correct template role (cover, middle, or CTA)
Live Slide Previews
Completed slides appear as thumbnails in real-time so you can see progress
Brand Voice Check
Each slide goes through a quality review before the final results are presented
Variations apply per-slide. If you select 3 variations with 5 slides, you get 15 total images—3 options for each slide position.
Content Direction
Content direction guides the AI on what themes, messages, or focus areas your generated content should emphasize.
How It Works
- 1
Enter your content direction describing what the image should focus on
- 2
Image Farm searches your content library for relevant context
- 3
Found sources are displayed as citations that will inform the generation
- 4
The AI uses both your direction and the cited sources to create accurate visuals
Example Directions
“Highlight our new eco-friendly packaging and sustainability commitment”
“Focus on the limited-time holiday sale with urgency messaging”
“Emphasize premium quality and craftsmanship for luxury audience”
“Use casual, friendly tone targeting Gen Z consumers”
Grounding Toggle
Enable “Ground with your content library” to automatically search your uploaded sources and find relevant context for your direction.
Generation
Once you have selected your sources, chosen a template, and optionally added content direction, you are ready to generate.
Output Formats
One-off Image
Generate a single image, perfect for social posts, ads, or standalone marketing materials.
Carousel
Generate 2–10 slide carousels with per-slide control over sources, direction, and adjustments. Requires a carousel-enabled template. See the Carousels guide for full details.
Variations
Generate multiple variations (1-5) of each image to have options to choose from. Each variation is unique while staying within your template guidelines.
Example: Selecting 3 variations will generate 3 unique versions of your image.
What Happens During Generation
Context Assembly
Your selected sources are retrieved and processed
Relevance Matching
The most relevant content from your sources is identified
Template Application
Your chosen template's style rules are applied
Image Creation
AI generates your visuals with captions
Best Practices
Upload Quality Sources
The better your source materials, the better your generated images. Upload high-resolution images, well-formatted documents, and accurate data.
Be Specific with Direction
Instead of "make it look good," try "emphasize the eco-friendly materials and target young professionals with a modern aesthetic."
Use Groups Strategically
Organize sources by campaign or project to quickly select the right context for different generation tasks.
Mark Logos Correctly
Always tag your logo files as logos so they appear correctly in generated visuals.
Create Multiple Templates
Set up templates for different platforms and use cases (Instagram vs LinkedIn, promotional vs informational).
Generate Variations
Always generate 2-3 variations to have options. The first result might not always be the best fit.
Start Carousels with a Strong Cover
The cover slide sets the visual foundation. Invest time in the base template prompt since middle and CTA slides inherit from it.
Use Per-Slide Content Direction
Give each carousel slide a distinct focus. For example, slide 2 could highlight features, slide 3 social proof, and the CTA a discount code.
Assign Sources Per Slide
For carousels, assign specific sources to individual slides so each one is grounded in the most relevant data rather than everything at once.
Preserve Flags for Consistency
Keep font, colors, and mood preserved across slides for a cohesive carousel. Let layout and photography vary to keep each slide visually interesting.
